From 14 to 31 January, Croatia is introducing special epidemic measures for people arriving from countries where the new coronavirus strain is spreading.

"Persons, including citizens of Ukraine, who arrive in Croatia from countries where the new strain of coronavirus is widespread, must present a negative PCR test result (valid for 48 hours) upon entering Croatia, and they will also be assigned a 14-day self-isolation. It can be reduced to 7 days provided that an additional PCR test is made at their own expense in Croatia (after 7 days of self-isolation) and if the test is negative," the Ukrainian Embassy in Croatia reported.

Citizens of Ukraine entering Croatia for urgent personal reasons (funeral, medical treatment) have the right to enter without a negative PCR test provided that they leave the country within 12 hours.

Ukrainian citizens planning n to enter Croatia for the purpose of volunteering in earthquake-affected areas can also enter without a negative PCR test if they have permission from the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters.

Other terms for the entry of Ukrainian citizens into Croatia during the restrictive measures period remain unchanged.

Ukrainian citizens permanently residing in Ukraine have the right to enter Croatia in exceptional cases. They cannot enter for tourist purposes.

The prohibition does not apply to citizens of Ukraine who have a residence permit in the countries of the European Union provided that a negative PCR test is presented when entering the country.

If there is a reason for entering Croatia, it is necessary to register a person's intention on the website of the Croatian Ministry of Internal Affairs and print the registration number of the application. This will speed up the border crossing.

Additionally. On July 11, the Ukrainian Embassy in Croatia published clarifications regarding the government's decision to change the entry rules for citizens of third countries, including Ukraine.
